The study on Piwi/piRNA-mediated coding gene regulation is limited by now. Here we analyzed the genes binding by locust Piwi protein Liwi1 and splicing factor (U2AF35) to explore the mechanisms underlying Piwi/piRNA-regulation on mRNAs. Meanwhile, we sequenced the small RNAs binding to Liwi1 and U2AF35.
