Novel Prediction Equations for Appendicular Skeletal Muscle Mass in Hemodialysis Patients: Referenced against Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains anonymized anthropometric, clinical, and body composition data collected from 111 patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis (HD). The data were used to evaluate existing appendicular skeletal muscle mass (ASM) prediction equations derived from the general population and to develop dialysis-specific anthropometry-based prediction models. For each participant, the dataset includes demographic information (age, sex), post-dialysis body weight and height, ultrafiltration volume, limb lengths, body circumferences, skinfold thicknesses, and ASM measured by multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). All anthropometric measurements were performed under standardized post-dialysis conditions to minimize the influence of fluid overload.
