Cryoconite holes from Ecology Galcier, Antarctica metagenome

Evaluation of diversity and cultivability of sulfate reducers from cryoconite holes of Ecology Glacier, Antarctica. This study uses a combination of direct metagenomic approach and the traditional enrichment culture technique, providing valuable insight into the ecology of sulfate reducing prokaryotes and also broadens the diversity knowledge of cryoconite hole microbial communities.
