In the case of areas under mountain supervision (Section 69(1) of the Federal Mining Act), supervision of these areas is subject to the competent authority (LBGR). Mining supervision shall cease after the completion of the final operating plan or the relevant orders of the competent authority have been issued at the time when, in the light of general experience, it is no longer likely that the operation will cause risks to the life and health of third parties, to others, to mining operations and to deposits whose protection is in the public interest or to public health.
