资源简介:
Libraries have existed for millennia, but today the library field is searching for solid footing in an increasingly fragmented (and increasingly digital) information environment. What is librarianship when it is unmoored from cataloging, books, buildings, and committees? In our society, everything in the library spaces must convey the message that there may be more pleasant and convivial public places than commercial or private spaces; a welcoming place open to all, a place open on Sundays, which offers a meeting point between people. On this model I suggest some interesting school libraries of Lecce in Salento, where these libraries can become neighborhood, places of inclusion and community. Free time seems to coincide with the time of "production". A real square of knowledge, crowded and busy at any time, in the wide spaces, between the aromas of coffee and the scent of toasted sandwiches, between benches and tables. With a space that interacts with the urban context and with the primary function of access to information. Strongly enhanced, libraries can, without losing their identity, be social places, organisms where they meet training. I suggest for any scholastic library.
