Shown is the cantonal triangle mesh BEENyx15, which was specially developed for the project ‘New Coordinates LV95’. With BEENyx15 spatial data can be precisely transformed from LV03 to LV95 and vice versa. The corner points of the individual triangles are so-called transformation bases (TSPs). BEENyx15 is based on the national triangular mesh CHENyx06. In order to eliminate local tensions simultaneously with the transformation, the latter was compressed locally. In an additional layer, differential vectors show how the position differs from points once they have been transformed with BEENyx15 and once with CHENyx06.
