This dataset contains anonymized written reflections from 42 students enrolled in a course on academic integrity at Stockholm University. The data were originally collected on 6 September 2024 during a seminar on ethical aspects of using generative AI in academic work. Students were asked to respond to the question: “Should I mention that I used ChatGPT to complete an academic assignment?”The reflections, totaling 2,626 words, were first written in Swedish and subsequently translated into English for research purposes. The dataset includes:The original student responses in Swedish.The English translations of the responses.Contextual information about the teaching activity (including prior exposure to plagiarism-prevention resources and a self-study course on academic integrity).The data are fully anonymized in compliance with GDPR and cannot be linked back to individual students.
