The fitness landscape of UPEC during UTIs

This study applies transposon-directed insertion site sequencing (TraDIS) to determine essential genes for growth and fitness determinants during growth and survival in LB, MOPS, human urine (in vitro) and mouse bladder infection using a modified model of UTI (in vivo) in UPEC.
