The aim of this study was to explore the gut microbiota of Kenyan school children that were fed biscuits baked with cricket powder or milk powder during their morning break. 57 fecal samples were collected from the children. 30 samples are of children that consumed biscuits which were made from house crickets (Acheta domesticus) while the the rest were treated as the control group.
