资源简介:
The pilot survey is part of a collaborative research project between Elisabeth Ivarsflaaten, Department of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen, Scott Blinder, Oxford University and Robert Ford, Manchester University. The project manager is Elisabeth Ivarsflaten. The project aims to develop new and improved indicators of attitudes concerning central fields in today's politics and society. This pilot survey helps to discover which of the suggested questions that serve to measure political attitudes in a satisfying manner.
The survey was carried out in the following manner: A questionnaire was administered that examined subjects' racial and political attitudes. Two pen and paper survey sessions were held during daytime at the University of Bergen, Norway, in November 2007. Participants were invited from within and around the university campus, and offered movie vouchers as incentive to participate. There were 80 respondents in total, but 4 respondents reported an "immigrant background" and were excluded from the analysis, resulting in a sample of 76 respondents.
The dataset is freely accessible and can be downloaded or analyzed online.
