This dataset is a compilation of data on soil physicochemical and biological properties, as well as nitrogen and phosphorus mineralization characteristics, under large-scale precipitation gradients in China. It is constructed based on measured data from farmland soil samples and divides the study area into humid, semi-humid, and arid zones using annual precipitation contour lines of 400 mm and 800 mm. The dataset primarily encompasses basic soil physicochemical indicators and core parameters for nitrogen and phosphorus mineralization. It covers a wide range, boasts a comprehensive indicator system, and offers high data accuracy. This dataset can provide standardized data support for analyzing the mechanisms of nitrogen and phosphorus mineralization in farmland soil driven by precipitation gradients, simulating nutrient mineralization losses, precisely regulating regional farmland nutrients, and studying sustainable agricultural development.
