Data for manuscript "Atmospheric forcing dominates winter Barents-Kara sea ice variability"

This dataset includes 1) ocean potential temperature, zonal current and depth used for the calculation of ocean heat transport through the Barents Sea Opening; 2) Arctic sea-ice concentration used for investigating Barents-Kara sea ice variability; 3) atmospheric temperature, speficic humidity, geopotential height, vertically integrated heat and moisture fluxes used for investigating the effects of atmospheric processes on Barents-Kara sea ice. All data are processed by Python, CDO and GrADS.
