Eukaryotic survey of Marginopora. marine metagenome

In this study we examine the diverse micro-eukaryote communities associated with a large soritid foraminifera in the genus Marginopora collected at Lizard Island Research Station, Australia. We used pyrosequencing to ask what Symbiodinium types as well as other potential eukaryotic symbionts are found in the Marginopora, the algal substrates, and the water column.
