Additional file 4. Candidate gene sets for the STRING (V11.0) pathway analysis. Two lists are provided: set of candidate genes from the across-breed association analysis (N = 41), and a set of candidate genes from the within-breed association analyses (N = 261). Total number of unique genes in the analyses is 272. Each of the listed genes are located maximum ±1 Mb from a SNP that demonstrated significant association to CHD in one of the analyses.
