An Open-Source BEAMnrc/EGSnrc Pipeline and Angular-Resolved Spectral Dataset for Diagnostic X-Ray Tubes at 80, 100, and 120 kV
收藏资源简介:
Open, angle-resolved Monte Carlo spectral datasets for diagnostic X-ray tubes are lacking at 80 and 100 kV — the standard low-voltage arms of dual-energy CT and the dominant voltages in fluoroscopy and paediatric imaging — despite their clinical centrality. This work releases such a dataset: 15 BEAMnrc/EGSnrc simulations spanning three tube potentials (80, 100, 120 kV) and five anode angles (12°–20°), extending a previously published single-kV release under an identical, verified geometry and transport configuration. The dataset is multiply validated (SpekPy v2.5 code-to-code comparison, an IEC 61267 RQR-referenced benchmark, and matched-kV HPGe spectral-shape verification) and released with its complete open-source processing pipeline, making it independently reproducible and directly extensible by other groups to their own tube geometries, anode materials, and filtration schemes — filling a specific, clinically relevant gap in the open spectral-dataset literature.
