95 affected dogs comprising 65 purebreds and 30 mixed breeds of varying intensity

Samples used in the study were collected from dogs that visited the hospital and were diagnosed with the consent of owners who believed their dogs exhibited aggressive behaviors (with Dunbar Dog Bite Scale). The recruited samples consisted of 22 breeds and mixed-breed dogs, totaling 95 dogs collected for the study. Whole blood samples were collected from the recruited dogs and stored in EDTA tubes at -80°C.Genetic typing was performed using the Illumina CanineHD BeadChip (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA) array, which includes 167,183 SNPs. These data were mapped using the CanFam3.1 reference genome (genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGateway?db=canFam3).
