The knockdown of Tmod, an actin-capping protein, decreases the expression of proteasomal degradation genes and increase expression of oxidative metabolism genes. It is also critical for the correct expression of larval actin isoforms. Overall design: Performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 experimental groups (tmodRNAi vs mCherryRNAi), with 3 samples each. Each sample contains the transcriptome of 7-10 Drosophila larva muscle enriched lysates.
