Old photos – Lower Normandy – Channel – From the Bay of Veys to Cherbourg 1920

These are black and white clichés of the metropolitan coastline. The years of shooting ranged between 1920 and 1935. Due to proper archiving in an air-conditioned room, their state of conservation has remained remarkable. Some of them are stored in an album with a number and an assembly plan. Others are stored in more or less organised cardboard boxes. The rest is in bulk. They usually exist in the form of clichés. But we also find in this collection some photos on glass plates that are actually the originals and some negative films.
