Total emissions of PM2.5 (particles < 2.5 microM.) from product use (including solvents) within the geographical area, measured in kg divided by number of inhabitants. Product use includes solvent use as well as paint for households and other operations, lubricants, paraffin wax, urea for catalysts, nitrous oxide for product use, fluorescent gases and other product uses. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. Individual industrial activities lead to high emissions locally, while the sector’s own heating reflects the conditions in the municipality well.
