Metadata for SWAT+ Model Development within the MERLIN Project: Five Case Studies (Sorraia – Portugal, Forth – Scotland, Komppassuo – Finland, Danube – Romania, and Kampinos – Poland)

This dataset contains metadata that was necessary to set up and develop hydrological models using SWAT+ within the framework of the European MERLIN project in task 3.3. It includes information from the five case studies representing diverse European environments: Sorraia cathcment (Portugal), Forth cathcment (Scotland), Komppassuo cathcment (Finland), part of the Danube cathcment (Romania), and the Kampinos cathcment (Poland). The dataset has been compiled and structured as part of Hydrological Modelling of MERLIN, supporting the creatin, parameterization, and calibration of the SWAT+ models. It contains the key input metadata [e.g. land use, soil, climate or DEM], organized to use across the five case studies.
