Southwestern South Atlantic WRF Nested Grids (2017-2018)

A multiresolution WRF dataset consisting of 325 short-term simulations over three nested domains (D01: 9 km, D02: 3 km, D03: 1 km) covering the southwestern Atlantic and the southern coast of Brazil. Each simulation provides 109 half-hourly outputs, of which 96 post–spin-up timestamps are retained, yielding a total of 31,200 valid time steps between 06~February~2017 and 18~November~2018. For each domain, we extract near-surface meteorological fields (10 m wind components and derived wind speed, 2 m temperature, surface pressure) together with static surface descriptors (land–sea mask, land-use index, terrain height), consolidated into single NetCDF files per grid.
