Cholesterol accumulation contributes to COPD pathogenesis by inducing metabolic reprogramming and proinflammatory signaling pathway in macrophages, which provides novel insights into the prevention and treatment of this disease clinically. Multi-omics including metabolomics, RNA_Suq and scRNA_Suq were integrated for disclosing the underlying mechanisms of COPD.
