The DEM VLAKO_100 is the final layer of the Geological 3D model. It represents the height (mTAW) of the surface with as few human interventions as possible. It was decided to create a Digital Terrain Model itself. The Geological 3D model was drawn up under the Flemish Government’s management agreement with VITO, known as VLAKO, on behalf of the Department of LNE – Land and Soil Protection Division, Subsoil, Natural Resources.
