MAET Egyptology collection GC-MS dataset

The dataset contains data collected between October 2024 and May 2025 as part of the HEADS project under the MSCA PF Grant Agreement No. 101103419. The chromatograms and mass spectra represent ancient embalming material collected from the heads of Egyptian mummies stored in the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the University of Turin. Samples with extracted with DCM:MeOH and silylated. Due to the nature of the GC-MS data, all raw files have been supplied which will allow further processing in the original software. The dataset includes 26 .D files that can be viewed using Agilent Chemstation or OpenLab as well as with open access software like AMDIS.
