LGRB-BW SPK MOL: Storage complex iron sandstone formation

Within the framework of the project “Storage cadastre” under the auspices of the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials, the LGRB developed potential maps of storage and barrier rocks in the Baden-Württemberg part of the Molasse Basin on the basis of available geological data and uniform evaluation criteria. The map shows the storage potential of the iron sandstone formation based on the depth and thickness of the rocks, as well as reference points and disturbances (https://media.lgrb-bw.de/link/spk/spk_skmol_5.pdf).
