Finnish Voter Barometer 1973

The survey studied Finnish perceptions of political parties, party membership, interest in politics, membership in various organisations, voting in the 1972 parliamentary and municipal elections, voting certainty, opinions about taxation, the government's role in the Finnish economy, the EEC, etc. Other topics included influence in decision making, perceptions of Finnish agriculture, and state grants. Background variables included which party R would vote for if the parliamentary elections were held at that time, number and age of household members, housing tenure and type of accomodation, R's economic activity, occupational status, basic education, vocational education, gender, age group, place of residence, electoral district, and annual gross income of the household.
