The aim of the exploration program undertaken by Prospect Hill Mining and Exploration Pty. Ltd. was to determine the existence and location of payable quantities of alluvial or hard rock gold in quantities sufficient to warrant the pegging of a mining lease. Exploration activities were focused in the mid western sub-blocks of the EPM. Metal detecting was conducted around the ridges, creeks and gullies in the explored area, positive results were achieved and require further investigation once and when bushfires pass through this area.
