Data and code for: Integrating ecological and participatory evidence for freshwater fish conservation prioritisation in a regulated West African river basin
收藏资源简介:
Anonymised field, survey and expert data, processed values, Python reproduction scripts, tables and figures supporting the article “Integrating ecological and participatory evidence for freshwater fish conservation prioritisation in a regulated West African river basin” (Conservation Science and Practice, manuscript CSP2-26-0275). The study prioritises four sampled reaches of the Kainji–Jebba dam cascade, Upper Niger River, Nigeria, using fish abundance data (April 2024 to March 2025), a dam-distance threat proxy, local ecological knowledge, expert (AHP) weighting and stakeholder validation. See README.md for the file layout, the analytical pipeline and known data-quality notes. Correction: the Niger State Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries approval reference is MFAR/FISH/4/VOL.III/690 (the README in the deposited zip gives it as “MEAR/FISH/…”, which is a typographical error).
