LOFAR Lightning Simulation Files

The LOFAR Lightning Simulation Files contain processed simulation data for point sources, extended sources and noise. Each .zip file corresponds to a different simulation; the point source files are split by location (C, D, E) and polar angle, marked as gamma (25, 45, 75, 90 deg); the extended sources are split by case (I-V); simulated noise by location (A, B) and measured noise by location (A, B). Each .zip file contains 100 simulations, and each simulation has an interferometry output file ("ATRID_{}.out") and a simulation output file ("Simulate_{}.out") generated by the LOFLI code that can be found at doi: 10.5281/zenodo.20135308699; an interferometry input file ("SimIntf_{}.in") and a simulation input file ("Simulate_{}.in"); and various .dat files containing processed reconstructed source characteristics (azimuth, zenith, northing, easting, altitude, and intensity). Extra simulations are added for the weighted interferometric intensity mode for a point source at location D with gamma = 25 deg, and extended source case (I).
