Data on environmental Quality and GDP in Tanzania Between 1985 and 2016

This data set was used to test for the existence of environmental Kuznets curve in Tanzania,The estimation on relationship between environmental degradation and economic growth shows that gross domestic product, agriculture value added and industry value added significantly contributes to environmental degradation in Tanzania in time of 1985 -2016. The results shown that agriculture, value added % of GDP and industry,value added % of GDP increases environmental degradation in Tanzania. Adding the inverted N-shaped environmental Kuznets curve in Tanzania is contrary to the hypothesized environmental Kuznets curve, which had to be in an inverted U-shaped curve
