为研究青藏高原及周边地区主要马属驯化动物的群体演化历史和局部适应遗传机制,并建立相应的种质遗传资源库。我们对在青海省、西藏自治区、新疆自治区采集的青藏高原及周边地区的14份马属样本进行全基因组重测序:包括藏马、藏家驴、平原家驴、家马平原地方品种。测序产生了一批基因组学数据,为追溯该地区主要马属驯化动物的驯化、迁徙、扩张等群体历史事件,并进一步探讨马属动物对缺氧、高寒、干燥等恶劣环境的适应机理提供资料。
To investigate the population evolutionary history and local adaptive genetic mechanisms of major domesticated equine species in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding regions, and to establish a corresponding germplasm genetic resource bank, we conducted whole-genome resequencing on 14 equine samples collected from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent areas in Qinghai Province, Tibet Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The samples include Tibetan horses, Tibetan domestic donkeys, plain domestic donkeys, and plain local domestic horse breeds. The sequencing generated a set of genomic data, which provides valuable data for tracing population historical events such as domestication, migration and expansion of the major domesticated equine species in this region, and further exploring the adaptive mechanisms of equines to harsh environments including hypoxia, high-altitude cold and aridity.
