This data set with territorial boundaries for statistical purposes of the __Comarcas of the Canary Islands__, also known as __Comarcas A2__ or ___Intermediate Statistical Areas ZEI A2__, and the __Grandes Comarcas de Canarias__, also referred to as __Comarcas A1__ or ___ Intermediate Statistical Areas ZEI A1__, is __nexact basic cartography__ used for the symbolic representation of geospatial statistics. The information is provided in the geodesic system of geographical coordinates __WGS84__ (World Geodetic System 1984, __SRID:4326__), used by the Canary Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), in several formats and with two generalisations (the one named as generalised in less detail).
