Data for a consumer perception survey about meal bar wrappers and disposal habits

This survey investigates consumer perceptions of sustainable packaging. Specifically, meal bar wrappers were explored. Question topics involve level of concern with environmental impacts, perception of sustainability for different materials, disposal behaviors, and carbon dioxide emissions. The results from a U.S. census-based representative sample of 1,027 participants were paired with LCA results to understand gaps between consumers' perceptions and environmental impact realities of flexible plastic packaging.
