The spatial transcriptomics of EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer before and after osimertinib treatment

In EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer, osimertinib, a third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor, has demonstrated durable efficacy in many cases. However, early resistance arises in some patients during treatment. To investigate the factors underlying this difference, we analyzed pre- and post-treatment samples from four EGFR-mutant lung cancer patients using Visium HD. Additionally, we performed cell identification and segmentation with StarDist and established a new coordinate system, enabling spatial transcriptomic analysis based on actual cell positions.
