What patients value when artificial intelligence enters primary care

This study used a cross-sectional survey design to investigate how patients approach the growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in primary care. Rather than focusing solely on technical applications, we examined patients’ expectations and concerns regarding AI’s involvement in clinical practice, especially in terms of trust, ethical implications, responsibility for decisions, and the importance of maintaining a human-centered model of care.
