资源简介:
This data set is the output of five different simulations studying the atmospheric escape at the planet Venus. The simulation used for this dataset is the Latmos Hybrid Simulation (LatHyS), a steady-state global hybrid model (Aizawa et al. (2022),  Modolo et al. (2005, 2006, 2012), Modolo (2016)). The simulations vary the incoming solar wind temperature and dynamic pressure at Venus, and are meant to study the atmospheric escape at the planet. The dynamic pressure is raised in two ways, with a density and a velocity enhancement. The simulation was stopped after 600 iterations, after it had stabilized. All simulations have the same following parameters: Interplanetary magnetic field (Bx, By, Bz) [nT] = (13, 6, 22)   solar radio flux at 10.7 cm = 164 number of grids: Nx=244, Ny=300, Nz=300 spatial resolution (150 km) time step (0.03 Ω−1) Te = 2.06 Ti  (temperature of electron and ions) is taken based on statistical studies (Wilson III et al. (2018)) The different simulations had the following unique parameters:   Parameters Simulation 1 (Sim T1)  Simulation 2 (Sim T2) Simulation 3 (Sim T3/P1) Simulation 4 (Sim P2) Simulation 5 (Sim P3) v [km/s] 900 900 900 600 600 n [/cc] 6.5 6.5 6.5 6.5 14.6 T [eV] 200  90  35 35 35   The results are named as followed: Hsw for the solar wind H+ ions Magw for the Venusian magnetic field  Hpl for the planetary H+ ions Opl for the planetary O+ ions Following that, v designates the solar wind velocity of the simulation, t the solar wind temperature and n the solar wind density.
