HydroBASINS

HydroBASINS是一个全球尺度的子流域边界矢量数据库，提供不同尺度(从几十平方公里到几百万平方公里)的一致大小、分层嵌套的子流域数据。该数据基于15弧秒分辨率的HydroSHEDS核心层提取，采用Pfafstetter编码系统支持流域拓扑分析，包含12个层次的子流域划分，覆盖全球陆地面积(除南极洲外)。数据可用于水文、环境、保护和社会经济等多种应用研究。HydroBASINS is a global-scale vector database of sub-watershed boundaries. It provides consistently sized, hierarchically nested sub-watershed datasets across scales ranging from tens of square kilometers to millions of square kilometers. Derived from the 15-arcsecond resolution core layer of HydroSHEDS, it adopts the Pfafstetter coding system to support watershed topological analysis. The database includes 12 levels of sub-watershed delineation, covering global terrestrial areas except Antarctica. The dataset can be used for various applied research in fields such as hydrology, environmental science, conservation and socio-economics.
