Maxicircles_Linf-Solana_2022

This dataset contains 14 maxicircles sequences assembled from Illumina sequence reads; these reads were generated by our group at Centro de Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa (CSIC-UAM) using total DNA from 13 Leishmania infantum isolates derived from human patients and another isolate (Linf-Sus) derived from a dog suffering leishmaniasis. All strains were isolated from patients living in Spain. The assembling was done following the procedure described by Camacho et al (2019. Genes (Basel) 10, 758; PMID: 31561572). The maxicircle coding regions are indicated by upper letters in the sequences. The archive has fasta format (BioEdit).
