Computing Job Market Survey in Kosovo, 2026: Dataset and Descriptive Report

This record contains the anonymised dataset and descriptive report from the 2026 survey on the computing and information and communication technology (ICT) job market in Kosovo. The online survey collected 228 responses between 31 March and 9 June 2026 from professionals working in the computing and ICT sector, including senior developers, team leaders, chief executive officers, chief technology officers, product and project managers, and professionals in other senior and technical roles. The survey examined the job profiles most in demand; the difficulty of recruiting work-ready computing and ICT professionals; relevant areas of knowledge; programming and scripting languages; web frameworks; emerging computing disciplines; preferred formats for professional internships; perceived monthly salaries for professionals with two years of work experience; and soft skills considered important for the labour market. The dataset and report were prepared to support evidence-based curriculum development and stronger alignment between higher education and the needs of the local and international computing and ICT labour markets. The record includes an anonymised response dataset, a descriptive report with aggregated results and visualisations, the survey instrument, and supporting documentation.
