资源简介:
The ocurrence of Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP) toxins in seafood is associated with most of the Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) detected in the European coasts. Although mussels are one of the main vectors of these toxins, they seem to be resistant to their cytogenotoxic effects. We de novo assembled the transcriptome of Mytilus galloprovincialis digestive gland and gill and investigated which genes were differentially expressed after exposure to the DSP toxin-producer Prorocentrum lima (100,000 cells/L, 48 h), in order to examine those genes altered by the action of DSP toxins, and to identify genes that could participate in the mussel resistance mechanisms.
