This data was generated to map BMP synthesis in mammalian cells. We have lipidomic files (LC-MS/MS) run on Orbitrap. Experiments include BMP measurements or general lipidomics following lipid feeding, or genetic knock outs of PLD3 and PLD4 in mammalian cells and murine tissues. Methods General Lipidomics files are labelled as follows: For cells – CellName-GeneName-Genotype-Mode. For example "HMC3-WT-NegativeMode" - refers to lipidomics data recorded for HMC3 wild type cells in negative mode of ionization. Genotype = Wild Type (WT), knock out (KO), Add-Back (PLD3 KO+ stable expression of PLD3 for rescue) For Tissues – TissueName-GeneName-Genotype-Mode. For example "Spleen-PLD4-WT-NegativeMode" - refers to lipidomics data recorded for Spleen from PLD4 wild type mice in negative mode of ionization. Genotype = Wild Type (WT), knock out (KO), hetereozygous (HET). PLD3 and PLD4 are two genes. BMP measurement files = File names same as for cells or tissues but with initial label as "BMP". For example - "BMP-HMC3-WT-NegativeMode" - refers to the BMP measurement in the HMC3 cells from wildtype cells in negative mode.  Negative mode and Positive mode - refers to the mode of ionization in which data was recorded.
