资源简介:
A design of soil layer filter absorbent as a treatment for the greywater from rural household effluent were studied. 3 comparisons were performed. Process comparison shown a list of possible simple natural materials which can replace and perform thesame process as high technology treatment. Soil filter down flow were designed as a 3 steps filtration treatment. Model contained layers of gravel, sand, bark as a primary filtration. Followed by biochar soil, bentonite clay, natural waste material; saw dust andrice husk, as secondary filtration. Finished by charcoal and cotton as tertiary filtration. Performance comparison expressed the capability of this model which has BOD, TSS, TN, NH3-N, TP and FOG percentage removal of 100%, 87.3-88.6%, 27.7-58.9%, 100%, 25.6-100%, and 100%, respectively. Furthermore, the effluent from this model is compared with the standard greywater quality for reusing purpose (BOD ≤ 10 and TSS≤ 5). The result indicates an increasing possibility of using treated greywater from soil filter absorbent model for agricultural, irrigation and decoration activities. The usage of 0.7 - 2.6 cubic meters of soil in soil filter model/ 4-person household/ year is estimated. With sunlight disinfection this soil is possible to be reused as fertilizer.
