Direct RNA-seq analysis based Oxford nanopore minION platform of Mesozoan Dicyema orientale. We also tried polyA-tailing method by E-PAP (E. coli Poly(A) Polymerase) to capture non-ployA RNAs, such as mitochondrial transcripts and non-coding RNAs. The RNA may include the RNA fractions of the host squid, Sepioteuthis lessoniana.
