Vegetation plots of Tuscan Archipelago

This dataset contains 1561 vegetational plots (relevé) from the Tuscan Archipelago (Italy), which were analysed in Chiarucci et al. Journal of Vegetation Science. Each plot corresponds to a row and contains the list of species (1 for presence and 0 for absence), the island where it was collected, an EUNIS code describing the habitat and other descriptors such as the coordinates of the plot, the elevation, the substrate, etc. Beware that only the species list, the island and habitat identities are available for all the plots, whereas the other descriptors are present only in the cases the original sources provided the data or in the cases we successfully extracted from other sources.
