Algorithm Framework: This dataset is constructed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model, assigning corresponding coefficients to eight value dimensions including patent validity period, number of inventors, agency situation, number of citations received, number of citations made, number of family patents, number of claims, and number of litigation cases. The sum of these eight dimensional scores is defined as the comprehensive patent value. The IFS function is utilized to determine patent value, which is used to evaluate the value of existing patents and provide technical support for domain technicians, market entities, and achievement transformation institutions. The specific algorithm rules are as follows: 1. Patent validity period score: The score is the number of years from today (November 22, 2023, the day the data was downloaded) to the estimated expiration date. If the estimated expiration date is before today, the original formula is still used for calculation. Although this score may be negative, patents still hold value after expiration, with 1 point per year. 2. Number of inventors score: The score equals the number of inventors, with 1 point per inventor. 3. Agency situation score: 5 points if an agency is involved, 0 points otherwise. 4. Number of citations received score: +10 points for each citation received. 5. Number of citations made score: +2 points for each citation made. 6. Number of family patents score: +1 point for each additional family patent beyond the baseline of 1. 7. Number of claims score: Taking 10 claims as the baseline, -1 point for each fewer claim, +1 point for each additional claim. 8. Number of litigation cases score: +50 points for each litigation case. Finally, the resulting score is rounded to the nearest integer.
