This dataset contains Baidu Search Index data between various administrative locations in mainland China, which measures the frequency with which users in one location search for the place name of another location via the Baidu search engine. It has a daily temporal resolution, spans the period from 2011 to 2019, and includes a total of 360 prefecture-level administrative regions, provincially administered county-level administrative regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and special administrative regions. The dataset was collected and curated from the Baidu Index website, with the original data stored in JSON format, and the total data size amounts to 2.31 GB.
