Osteopontin is known as a biomarker in pulmonary fibrosis. However, the effect of osteopontin in alveolar macrophages during pulmonary fibrosis is not known. Bulk RNA sequencing is used to understand the changes in the transcriptome profile of alveolar macrophages in bleomycin treated WT and osteopontin knock-out mice.
