SE.ACMF Meteorological observations — Air temperature, minimum 1 day

Purpose: Describes current weather and over time the climate Unit: °C Features: Minimum air temperature of 24 hours, stored 18 UTC. Most stations measure values 2 times per day (06 UTC and 18 UTC) which are then valid for 12 hours, of which the lowest value is selected to obtain daily values. If so, the quality code will turn yellow. If only daily values are measured, the quality code becomes green. Network information: — Basic network: Data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases. Data is quality controlled, which means that incorrect data is corrected and data loss is supplemented on the basis of expert judgement where possible. The stations are continuously monitored, inspected and maintained by SMHI. — Other stations: Data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases. The data quality is unknown to SMHI as SMHI neither performs quality control on data nor inspections at the stations.
