资源简介:
The dwarf spheroidal (dSph) galaxies in the Local Group are of considerableinterest because of their unusually high masstoluminosity (M/L) ratios. The^ated M/L ratios have led to claims of the presence of extraordinary amountsof Dark Matter (DM) in the dSph galaxies. We propose a 70ks Xray observation ofDraco in order to search for quiescent lowmass xray binaries (qLMXBs). Thesedata offer the potential for an independent estimate of the amount of DM inDraco and provide an opportunity to test alternative models that employ initialmass function (IMF) variations and internal dynamics of stellar populations toexplain the observed M/L ratios. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
