ESI for An iron fist in a velvet glove: The cooperation of a novel pyoverdine from Pseudomonas donghuensis P482 (PVDP482) with 7-hydroxytropolone is pivotal for its antibacterial activity

Electrospray ionisation mass spectra and MS/MS analysis were performed on a Triple TOF 5600+ Sciex mass spectrometer connected to the microLC200 Eksigent chromatography system. The chromatographic separation of the preparation was carried out on a ChromXP C18 column 0.3x150 mm with a particle size of 0.3 μm in a gradient of 8 % B for 1 min, 8-40 % B 1-26 minutes, 98 % B 26-29 min and 8 % B 29-30 min. The flow was kept at 5 μl min-1, and the injection was 5 μL of the preparation. The system was controlled by the Analyst 1.7 TF software.
